Garrett Costigan is one of Melbourne’s favourite musicians. Costigan is well known for his work with Stephen Cummings, Lisa Miller and Cyndi Boste, and has performed with some of Australia’s most accomplished musicians, including the Australian music super-trio, Tex Don and Charlie (Tex Perkins, Don Walker and Charlie Owen).

Costigan’s pedal steel is a real feature of Morning Edges and is the perfect complement to Ashton’s arrangements. Costigan’s soaring runs enthrall, while his lamenting wanderings tear at the heartstrings and provide an evocative backdrop for Ashton’s story-telling.
