Bruce Haymes is among Australia’s music elite. An ARIA award winner (Best Original Soundtrack / Cast / Show Recording—Lantana), Haymes has written, performed and recorded music at the highest level for over 30 years.

Contributing to over 150 albums and 15 films, Haymes’ resume reads as a ‘who’s who’ of Australian music royalty. Haymes was a founding member of Bachelors From Prague (1985-91), and has been a member of the Paul Kelly band (1994-2003), and the Vika and Linda Bull band (1993-2003). Currently, Haymes plays piano in the Renee Geyer Band and Fogg (Jeff Raglus), and is an integral element of innovative Australian blues and roots band, The Hornets (Craig Horne, Jeff Burstin, Wayne Burt, Wayne Duncan and Chris Tabone).

Morning Edges benefits tremendously from Haymes’ extensive palette of musical talents. Haymes’ extraordinary keyboard skills drive a number of tracks, and provide some intriguing interplay with Ashton’s guitar work and vocals. Haymes anchors Morning Edges with his drum and bass performances, providing a rock-solid rhythm foundation for the album’s other musicians.
